About Us
Our goal is to promote the sport of ice
skating, both recreational and competitive, in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
To
achieve this goal, we offer Lean to Skate Group lessons for children and adults,
private lessons, test sessions, an ice
show in which all club members are invited to participate, and a Theater on Ice
team. We are a USFSA sanctioned club
that has been in existence for over 35 years.
What makes us different?
- All of our coaches are USFSA and PSA members
- Our annual membership fee is lower than other area clubs
- Our Spring Ice Show is open to all skaters, regardless of level - no "try outs"
- We are the only club in the State of Connecticut to offer a Theater On Ice team to qualified skaters
- Off-ice events (annual dinner, NYC Trip - Ice Theater of New York, Cirque du Soleil, pool parties, other social events)
We follow the USFSA Basic Skills curriculum. Skaters
in our program can go on to play on local hockey teams, compete in figure
skating competitions at the local and regional level, or just enjoy being
part of a sport they can participate in for a lifetime.
